A BFCU Visa™ Debit Card works like just writing a check and can be used at any merchant that accepts Visa™.  When you use your Visa™ Debit Card to make a purchase, that amount is debited from your checking account.  You can also use your card at any ATM to get cash.

Direct Deposit and Payroll

Safely and convieniently deposit your paycheck or government check with direct deposit.  Direct Deposit allows members to authorize their employer or the government to directly deposit into their BFCU account.  You can also split up your deposit any way that you want!  Pay your loan, deposit into your savings, your holiday account, however you want. BFCU has a Certified Financial Counselor on staff.  This individual is available to meet with your, review your bills and accounts and can help you set up a budget.  Call (908) 859-2340 ext 223 to set up an appointment.

Credit Score Management Services

You hear it on the news, seen it on TV…it's your Credit Score.  Have you ever wondered what makes up your score?  Well, we can help!  Our Loan Officers have been specially trained and certified to review your credit score and determine what is driving your score and what you can do to raise your score.  You will also receive a copy of your credit score for free!  Call (908) 859-2340, option 2 for details.

Notary Public and Signature Guarantee Services

Notary Service
Members can have documents notarized free of charge.  Picture identification of the party signing the document is required.

Signature Guarantee
BFCU offers Medallion Signature Gurantee service for our members.  A Signature Guarantee is used for selling, redeeming or transferring securities such as stocks or mutual funds.
Please call ahead to make an appointment for your Medallion Signature Guarantee.

Wire Transfers

BFCU offers both domestic and international inbound and outbound wire services.

Outgoing Wires
You will need the following information in order to complete an outbound wire:

  • The Institutions full name, full address (no PO Boxes) and their 9 digit ABA/Routing number
  • For international wires, need an IBAN or Swift Code along with Institution information
  • Name of individual receiving funds along with their full address as it appears on their account
  • Receiving individuals account number
